Know Christ Missionaries

Missionaries are the one who redeemed by Jesus and transformed in their life to obey and live like JESUS. When they received the compassion of Christ towards the unreached, they leave their comfort zones and move out and fulfill the GREAT COMMISION by sacrificing everything.

" But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.."

Ziegenbalg was born in Pulsnitz, Saxony, on 10 July 1682 in a devout Christian family. He showed an aptitude for music at an early age. He studied at the University of Halle. Under the patronage of King Frederick IV of Denmark, Ziegenbalg, along with his fellow student, Heinrich Plutschau, became the first Protestant missionaries to India. They arrived at the Danish colony of Tranquebar on 9 July 1706.
