I am writing to share a profound testimony of God's mercy, healing power, and the incredible support we received from our faith community during a challenging and unexpected journey.
On September 24, 2023, my wife experienced a significant injury – a broken great toe. Little did we know that this seemingly unrelated incident would lead us on a path of faith, strength, and miraculous healing.
In the second week of November 2023, my wife began to endure unexplained abdominal pain. Alarmed, we sought medical attention, leading us to Urgent Care on November 13, 2023. Urgent Care, suspecting hernia, swiftly directed us to the Emergency Unit on the same day. An initial diagnosis in emergency care revealed a large cyst in her liver, prompting a transfer to Riverside Hospital for further MRI scans and consultation with the surgical team.
With heavy hearts and deep concern, we arrived at Riverside Methodist Hospital on November 14, 2023. The medical team initially proposed a biopsy to gather more information about the cyst. Filled with faith and trust in the divine, I fervently prayed to the Lord Jesus, seeking his intercession for my wife's well-being.
In addition to our personal prayers, I reached out to our spiritual family at Christ Love Fellowship, requesting their support in lifting my wife up in prayer. One of CLF brothers graciously prayed over telephone, invoking divine intervention and expressing our collective hope that my wife would be healed without the need for a biopsy.
To our astonishment, on November 15, 2023, a team of doctors approached us with unexpected news. Contrary to the initial plan for a biopsy, they informed us that surgery was scheduled for the following day, November 16, 2023. This sudden change left us perplexed, but we clung to our faith, trusting that God's plan was unfolding. The doctors reassured us that the need for a biopsy was merely a miscommunication, filling us with awe and strengthening our belief in the power of prayer.
"With the grace of the Lord Jesus and the unwavering support of our faith community, the surgery took place on November 16, 2023. Miraculously, there were no complications as the medical team successfully removed a large cyst containing over a liter of fluid, ultimately determined to be benign. Our gratitude knows no bounds. My wife was discharged on November 17, 2023, and, with each passing day, she continues to improve – a testament to the healing power of God."
- the healing power of God
We express heartfelt gratitude to all who prayed for us during this challenging time. The love and support from our friends, family, and faith community played a vital role in the miraculous recovery of my wife. This journey has deepened our faith and reinforced our belief in the power of communal prayer.
May our testimonial serve as a reminder that, even in the face of uncertainty and medical challenges, God's grace and the strength of community can lead to miraculous healing and restoration.
